Amidst 1,000 attendees and key players in the insurance space, we were thrilled to showcase the SS&C booth, catch up with our clients, and meet new people at IASA 2017. We had an enjoyable, busy 3 days at the event where we hosted a raffle for 2 tickets to Universal Studios, led 2 vendor connect tours, moderated the chief investment officer roundtable, and kicked off our insurance survey.
Our 2 vendor connect tours were led by Elena Kulakovska and Abhilash Viswanathan. Elena hosted a live demo of the SS&C Global Gateway solution and explained how it provides timely and accurate investment reporting and manages and grows client portfolios.
Abhilash provided an overview of our accounting, audit, and tax consulting services. He shared real-life examples with the audience including how our business process consulting services helped a US insurer migrate to an outsourced model, resulting in increased efficiencies and automation. As a thank you to our tour attendees, we were pleased to give them all a Stow-N-Go picnic blanket.
Jim Ramenda, senior vice president of risk, moderated the chief investment officer roundtable. Dennis Lockhart, recent president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the roundtable’s keynote speaker, discussed the current economic environment.
The IASA conference provided us with an excellent opportunity to launch our 2017 insurance survey, which is designed to determine key technology trends among insurance companies. Tell us what you think by participating in our survey.
The IASA conference was a huge success and we hope to see you there next year. Visit our website for a full list of events we’re attending in 2017.
