SS&C spoke on a panel about fintech disruptors and whether the cutting-edge technologies making the headlines are gaining mindshare and receiving budgets at top asset management firms. Organizations are still struggling to scale technology to create value within their organizations. Meanwhile the combination of macro-economic conditions and the labor shortage has put further pressure on trying to meet client needs in a timely manner.

Bill Stone: SS&C 35th Anniversary and Evolution of Asset Management

As the industry has grown and matured over the last 35 years, SS&C has partnered with asset managers throughout the journey. Bill Stone founded SS&C in 1986 with four employees, focusing on enabling asset managers to manage their books electronically. Today, the company has around 25,000 employees and more than 100 offices, serving 18,000 customers across the financial and healthcare industries. SS&C owns and operates the entire technology stack encompassing investment accounting, front-to-back-office operations, performance measurement, risk analytics, regulatory reporting, and healthcare information processes.

SS&C Named Top Hedge Fund, Private Equity Administrator by Global Custodian

Global Custodian has named SS&C GlobeOp as a top administrator for hedge funds and private equity funds in its annual survey, significantly outperforming the industry average for the second year in a row. The independent annual survey asked SS&C clients to rate administrators across a number of categories, including client service, reporting and onboarding. Their response is a testament to the continued investment SS&C has made in its fund administration business over the last year.

SS&C recognized by Systems in the City 2021 Fintech Awards

SS&C Technologies was recently recognized for excellence in intelligent automation and investment management technology among more than 200 technology and service providers at the Systems in the City 2021 Fintech Awards. Started in 2000, the annual Systems in the City Fintech Awards recognize the leading service and system suppliers to the regulated financial community. Entry to be considered for the awards is free, and any system or service supplier in the financial technology sector can enter for consideration. Of the more than 200 submissions, 27 were selected for awards.
