SS&C Algorithmics wins Most Innovative COVID-19 Response award

A-Team Group Innovation Awards has recognized SS&C Algorithmics as the Most Innovative COVID-19 Response for our new product, Algorithmics Scenarios as a Service.

Judged by a panel of industry experts, the award recognizes how SS&C Algorithmics has combined the latest innovations in financial modeling with specialized COVID-19 related content in order to launch Algorithmics Scenarios as a Service. The cloud-based Service provides pandemic scenarios to help financial institutions measure their risk and enable them to quickly incorporate pandemic modeling into their stress testing regime.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted global economies and financial markets. Financial institutions are managing risk within highly volatile markets and focused on both measuring and predicting the impact of constant volatility on their holdings. Credit portfolios in particular have been vulnerable to business closures and bankruptcies, making the need to assess risk even greater.

Mina Wallace, SVP and General Manager, SS&C Algorithmics said, “We are proud to have a team of people able to innovate quickly and create a Service in response to these incredibly challenging times. Receiving the Award for the Most Innovative COVID-19 Response reinforces our commitment to ongoing innovation focused on emerging risks in general.”

Financial Institutions can subscribe to receive relevant content and get instant access to our library of state-of-the-art stress tests. The content is delivered through a flexible API to minimize implementation effort and maximize value. The epidemiological model provides correlated scenarios on various macroeconomic indicators and sectors across multiple geographies, including the US, Europe and Asia.
