SS&C CEO Bill Stone talks market volatility and opportunity on CNBC's Mad Money

SS&C CEO Bill Stone was a guest on CNBC’s Mad Money last night. He spoke with Jim Cramer about the evolution of SS&C as a public company, which we will celebrate on March 31. Over the past 10 years, we have grown into one of the largest providers of financial technology and health information processing. SS&C is now the top hedge fund and private equity fund administrator in the world with more than $1.8 trillion in assets under administration, and is the largest mutual fund transfer agent.

Our 10th anniversary as a publicly-traded company on the NASDAQ follows a very rewarding 2019. Our GAAP revenue for the year was $4.6 billion—an increase of 35.4% from the year prior.  We have grown to 23,000 employees across 93 cities in 35 countries, and we serve more than 18,000 clients in the health and financial services industries. This growth came via acquisitions (55 since the company was founded in 1986) and the industry’s growing need for technology, financial expertise and innovation.

The full Mad Money segment is available to view below, where you can hear Bill discuss how our customers are navigating market volatility, opportunity, perseverance in uncertain times, and SS&C’s response to COVID-19.
