SS&C clients have a major advantage because we build, manage and own the technology infrastructure supporting our fund administration, transfer agency, business process outsourcing and managed services business lines. Because we use our proprietary software to deliver services, we can continuously monitor and troubleshoot system performance and execute timely updates in a highly scalable, reliable and secure manner.
SS&C Cloud: Flexibility and Resiliency
Nearly all of our clients’ core technology, operational platforms and managed services are hosted in SS&C’s data centers. This provides our clients a level of flexibility, scalability and operational resiliency that is extremely difficult and costly to achieve on their own. Strategically located around the globe, SS&C data centers adhere to strict security standards, are certified under Service Organization Control (SOC 1) reporting and undergo regular audits, attestations and penetration testing.
Data Security: Protecting a Precious Asset
Data is among the most valuable business assets. SS&C takes stringent measures to protect our clients’ data—and our own—from compromise and theft. Those measures include an Information Security Management System (ISMS) modeled on the International Standards Organization (ISO) IEC27002 Code of Practice for information security. We also comply with all local and international laws governing data protection and privacy.
